How to Treat Cellulite

Cellulite, also known as subcutaneous fat, is a type of fat that exists beneath the skin. It is caused by structural changes in connective tissue and can occur anywhere in the body. Although cellulite is common, it is often considered unsightly, particularly around the thighs and buttocks.

Cellulite can make you feel self-conscious and make it difficult to wear certain types of clothing. Fortunately, there are ways to prevent and treat this condition, allowing you to resume wearing your favorite outfits!

  • Exercise: In order to get rid of cellulite, you need to exercise. The best type of exercise for this is cardio-vascular activity (like running or swimming). You can also use weights in order to tone your body and reduce the amount of fat on your thighs.
  • Laser therapy: This option uses lasers that break down the fat underneath the skin in order to remove it. This process takes several sessions but is not painful at all, although some patients report feeling a little heat during each session.
  • Cellulite creams and lotions: These products may help make your skin smoother by improving its texture as well as increasing blood flow beneath your skin (which helps promote new collagen production). However, they are most effective when used alongside other treatments such as massage techniques or exercises since they don't target the root cause of cellulite itself - which means they aren't always an ideal solution on their own!
